Active Management Area Assessment

The Active Management Area (AMA) Assessment is a precursor to the development of the Fourth Management Plan. The Assessment is a compilation of 22 years worth of water demand and supply data broken into the three major water use sectors (municipal, industrial and agricultural) in each AMA and also includes water storage, net natural recharge and in some AMAs, limited information, as available, on Indian land water demand and supply. The purpose of the Assessment is to identify water use trends and identify possible future directions for water management in the upcoming Fourth Management Plan.
