Arizona's Water @ Work

Welcome to “Arizona’s Water @ Work.” It is an electronic magazine that focuses on the activities of the men and women who work at the Arizona Department of Water Resources. Our plan is to publish quarterly, and in each issue we will deal with a different part of our agency. Our hope is to give the public, as well as the “water community,” a better understanding of what it is that we do here at ADWR. At any time, we are likely to have our people spread all over this large state, from measuring groundwater basins up near Lake Mead to the monitoring the binational wastewater treatment plant near Nogales. The future of Arizona is in how well we manage and conserve our water. With “Arizona’s Water @ Work,” we hope to show you how a group of highly talented professionals goes about protecting our most important natural resource.
